Member Update: Building the Future of the American Homebrewers Association

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the American Homebrewers Association® (AHA) gathered more than 1,000 members at the 46th Homebrew Con in Asheville, N.C., for an update on your national association’s first year as an independent nonprofit and a look at what lies ahead. Homebrew Con sold out before the conference was over, bringing together 1,141 homebrewers, speakers, judges, stewards, volunteers, and attendees, proving that homebrewing is alive and well. The message was simple: The AHA is building for the future; our new member leaders are learning from and refining what we do today to guide what comes next.
