Donna Reuter of Akron, OH, member of the Society of Akron Area Zymurgists (SAAZ), won a gold medal in Category #18: Strong American Ale with an American Barleywine during the 2019 National Homebrew Competition Final Round in Providence, RI, with the help of Larry Reuter. The Reuter’s Strong American Ale was chosen as the best among 254 entries in the category.
