Cast Your Vote in the 2026 Board Elections (March 2-29, 2026)

The American Homebrewers Association invites active members to participate in the 2026 Board of Directors election. This year’s slate responded to AHA’s open call for nominations and represents a range of experience, perspectives, and commitment. AHA received strong interest, and the Board selected a slate of ten candidates from a pool of 28 applicants to appear on the member ballot.

Board Composition for This Election

As part of AHA’s transition to independence beginning in 2025, Board terms are staggered to support organizational continuity.

In this election, members will vote to fill four open Board seats. At the same time, three current founding directors continue to serve their existing terms, expanding the Board from five to seven directors.

Voting Period and Guidelines

  • Voting is open March 2, 2026, through March 29, 2026
  • Voting is open to active AHA members only
  • Each member may vote for up to four (4) candidates
  • Members may vote only once per candidate

  • March 2 – Voting opens
  • March 12Meet Your AHA Board Candidates (AHA Happy Hour, YouTube, 6:00 pm MT)
  • March 29 – Voting closes
  • April 7 – Results announced
  • June 19 – First meeting of the newly seated Board on site during AHA’s annual gathering, Homebrew Con to happen in Asheville, North Carolina
