John Hawkins, Moderator

DRAFT Club President

John Hawkins has been brewing beer for nearly 20 years and currently serves as president of his local homebrew club—the Dayton Region Amateur Fermentation Technologists (DRAFT)—in Dayton, Ohio. He enjoys reading beer books and, as a newly certified Beer Judge Certification Program judge, talking beer with fellow enthusiasts. When he’s not shuttling his kids to sporting events, heading out on a Sunday morning hike, or playing with his miniature dachshund, Frankie, he’s probably daydreaming about his next brew.
