Metts Potter of Browns Summit, NC, member of the Battleground Brewers Guild , the winning club of the 2019 Gambrinus Club Award, won a silver medal in Category #19: Strong UK Ale with an English Barleywine during the 2019 National Homebrew Competition Final Round in Providence, RI. Potter’s English Barleywine was chosen as the runner-up entry among 248 entries in the category.
