Benjamin Amidon of Arlington, MA won a gold medal in Category 9: Pale British Ale in the 2024 National Homebrew Competition Final Round. Amidon’s Ordinary Bitter earned gold out of 93 entries.

Amidon shared the following about Bitter-Chuk: “Big on flavor but very sessionable common bitter. Relatively simple grain bill, but close attention to yeast health, pitch rate and fermentation temperature brings this beer to life.”
