Learn how to make kimchi at home. It’s easy and delicious! Kimchi can easily be customized to your personal preferences, too. Many of the principles involved with kimchi can also be applied to other fermented foods.
About the Speakers
Miguel Richards – Miguel is a chef at the Moerlein Lager House and oversees the monthly beer dinners. He loves experimenting with beer and food and is especially fond of using fermented foods and spices in his creations (along with beer, of course). He works with the flavors of beer and food to create amazing pairings and combinations.
Roxanne Westendorf – Roxanne has been homebrewing for 23 years. She is an American Homebrewers Association Governing Committee member, serves on the Brewers Association board of directors, and has twice been president of her local homebrew club, the Bloatarian Brewing League. An avid foodie with an interest in homemade foods, she added cheesemaking about 12 years ago and has since added other fermented foods like kimchi to her homemade passions.
