Dave Robinson of Spokane, WA, a member of the Spokane Recirculating Mashers (SRM), won a gold medal in Category 8: German Wheat & Rye Beer in the 2024 National Homebrew Competition Final Round. Robinson’s historical Sahti earned gold out of 80 entries.

Robinson shared the following about Nectar of Näkki Sahti: “Thick, malty, with rye spice and just enough juniper to stand in for the lack of hops. Comfort food in liquid form.”
