Mark Peterson of Queen Creek, AZ, member of the Arizona Society of Homebrewers, the winning club of the 2019 NHC Homebrew Club Award, and winner of the 2019 Homebrewer of the Year and Ninkasi Awards, won a silver medal in Category #9: Scottish & Irish Ale with a Scottish Heavy during the 2019 National Homebrew Competition Final Round in Providence, RI. Peterson’s Scottish Heavy was chosen as the runner-up entry among 222 entries in the category.
