Nick Corona of San Marcos, CA and member of Quality Ale and Fermentation Fraternity (QUAFF) won a gold medal in Category #18: German Wheat and Rye Beer during the 2016 National Homebrew Competition Final Round in Baltimore, MD. Corona’s weissbier was chosen as the best among 176 entries in the category, which helped him earn the title of 2016 Homebrewer of the Year award.
