The boy's godfather is quite British,
I didn't care at all about the royals and what they're doing, but now my opinion has gone from ambivalent to low.  It's not that they don't want beer there, but why be a snob about it?  Just say "these are the drinks we're serving", none of this "that entire category of beverage is not fit to be served".  Aren't these people supposed to have impeccable manners?

What does quite british mean? ;D
And I agree, nothing like demonstrating openly the contempt for the people that let them keep the big house and fancy cars.  The british people should have pushed the royalty into the channel and told them to swim to france around 1777.

Well at least she is pleasant to look at.

You'll get no argument from me.  :P

I suppose that's fair, for a lady of advanced years...

You would think the House of Windsor would be true to their roots.

A guide on a walking tour of London often said the Royals are "Germans".  They changed the name from the house of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.  Look up the history.  The House of Windsor is a new title for the family.  Oh, and Phillip's uncle Lord Mountbatten, changed his name to the English tranlation of Battenberg.

Was it King George the I who spoke no English, only German?

Just saying that their roots have beer in there somewhere.

Nothing makes the Weaze sicker than celebrity gossip, unless it's royal family gossip. Get this rap over with, and move on people. I can't believe anyone really gives a rats lower intestinal tract.

 Or American politics....

No, the other one. PILF 8)

That's why the fresh blood is being brought in. ;) Sounds kinda harsh but thats how I see it. Genuine couple? Yeah I believe so. Don't think I'll be watching the wedding unless I'm being held hostage.

Since I work in a TV studio I couldn't not watch the wedding. Really, I promise. The service was nice.  Too many hats for my taste though. Her dress reminded me of my wife's wedding dress - we found it in a box with a bunch of clothing donations, it had this hideous sequined thing on it. We found a dress cleaner who apprenticed with Vera Wang, and she made it look all purdy. Best $100 wedding dress ever.

It's over?  Good.  Maybe now they'll stop talking about it on TV.

Meh...they're Brittish and proud of their heritage...so be it. They certainly draw a heck of alot of media attention. I quess I just don't get it. It's like all of that love and kissing that my wife watches on the Lifetime channel. If I had to sit through one more Lifetime movie...I think I'd rip my eyeballs out.  ;)

so let the british waste their time. our media should have better stories to cover.  agree with tom, thank God it is over.  patient in hospital this morning was complaining of abdominal pain.  went in the room and she was watching the wedding. no wonder her stomach hurt.  surprised she wasn't vomiting ;D
