Hot. Anybody not hot?
Setting records here. Almost 80°F the past couple days.
Somebody's bragging :-). Have some pity for all them poor folks who live near sea level. What is that heat index thing anyway?
Heat index is a number that somehow combines temperature and humidity to indicate what the actual effect on the skin is, what it feels like and how it affects your body. Sort of the opposite of wind chill factor. Weather people really start throwing it around this time of year down here near sea level.
I try not to talk about the weather much, because there’s not much I can do about it, but now that you mention it, my phone says it’s 90F right now and “feels like” 100 in spite of the humidity being as low as 61%.
Perhaps I should not have been trimming and unloading tree limbs off the roof of the house.
