Baltic Porter is up there on my favorites list.

Brewed 5.5 gallons Marzen Oktoberfest on Anvil Foundry 10.5 on August 3rd. Fermenting at 55F. Sparged with 1 gallon of distilled water. Substituted 12 oz of Rahr 2Row because out of Pilsner Malt.

Another Helles 5 gallon batch for football season.  8.5 lbs Avangard pilsner, half pound of Carahell 10L, quarter pound of platinum
Sauer.  Step mash over 75 minutes, 30 minute boil; half ounce of magnum at FWH, then 2 ozs. Mittelfruh at 20 minutes.  Repitched slurry of S-189 from the batch that I racked to keg while brewing this batch.  Good day to brew - cool morning for this time of year.

That’s Mr. Brewbama after winning the club competition for ciders.

PS. Those low carb beers must be working. Looking good, Dwain!

I love the belt! I'd probably brew for more competitions if they gave out belts instead of trophies :)

That’s our monthly club challenge belt. I keep it for a month then pass it on to next month’s champion (or keep it if I repeat). It is a pretty cool idea.
