Still getting used to Gators AT (after Tebow), but all should be well until the end of October on that front.

Just looking for improvement on the Jags, no expectations beyond that.

Green Bay vs. Ravens in the Superbowl is my prediction.

Ravens look good on paper, but it's a long way from the preseason to the superbowl.  Flacco and the defense need to step up. We'll see... here's hoping.

Looks like Green Bay is going to be the team to beat in the division, if not in the NFC. Vikes might make a wildcard if they can get their receivers back - and if they can keep Favre healthy.

I agree...Rodgers is primed to fight for an MVP.  That's a damn good team.

My problem is my Ranger's are heading to the post-season so I can't really lose focus on them.

Agree, this Twins-White Sox Pennant race could be fun...then hopefully a little October ball    8)

Obviously their site must be broken as it makes no mention of my Bears. Bear down! Beat Green Bay!

Doesn't say anything about my Titan's either. That said, overall it looks pretty believable. All except Pittsburgh. That team is going to start out with major problems and I think they will have a hard time recovering. I think they have as much of a chance to win a WC as the Titans. And I am hoping the Titans are going to surprise every one the way they did 2008/9 season.  8)

The AFC N is a pretty tough division, even more so if they fall behind or start slow.  The Bengals are starting to look like a real team, you can't disregard the Ravens - so the only real pushover is the Browns.  Its pretty tough to make a WC spot as the 3rd team in the division.

I think the Titans will be a tough team (but I hope not  :D ).  The Texans seam like perennial "almost there's" and the Jags don't worry me (I hope I don't regret those words).

GO COLTS!!
(If we could get Marshall Faulk to come out of retirement, we'd have a running game again - and he'd probably still be better than any RB on the team).

I'm going to the opener for the Patriots on Sunday.  Looking forward to another year.  I was at the preseason game a couple weeks ago and wan't impressed with the defense so hopefully they can work that s%$t out.

Looks like my Red Sox are almost done for the season, so it's football from here on out.

I betcha the Jags steal at least one if not both games from them this year, which doesn't portend for a playoff run. ;D

How 'bout splitting this thread into "Overpaid Prima-donna Football" (NFL) and "Real Football" (NCAA)?  Although I guess the "overpaid" part might factor into real football if your Reggie Bush or any member of the UNC team :)

okay so to get it started:

why couldn't your receiver hold on to the ball so we wouldn't have to listen to "should Boise State be in the National Championship" game all year long as they walk through the remainder of their cupcake schedule?   ;) ;D

Yep, and why did we gift-wrap them 17 points to start the game?  We blew it but now we've got a dilemma:  do we root for BSU here on out to make us look better or do we root for someone (several someones actually) to beat them so we don't have to endure the "BCS" crap?

Personally, I'm not sure yet.  Want us to look good but I was upper deck row 1 directly above the fans in blue and when they started chanting "BCS, BCS,..." at the end, I must admit that a fleeting temptation crossed my mind to "accidently" spill something over the edge.

I'd be willing to literally  take that bet - that they will win two against my Titans. How comfortable do you really feel?
