Club Insurance December Enrollment Now Open!

Hey Homebrew Clubs!

This is John Moorhead with the AHA. I'll be coordinating the club insurance program moving forward.

The AHA's club insurance program enrollment for the 9-month 2020/2021 policy is open! Below is some information on the program.

Homebrew Club Insurance Enrollment

The largest exposure for your homebrew club involves liquor liability. Every club and possibly every club member involved could be named in a suit.  The club insurance program protects you and your members by providing both general liability and liquor liability coverage for your club and is the only program in existence designed specifically for homebrew clubs.

Get Coverage for Your Club

The club insurance enrollment is open through December 1. The policy is for 9 months from December 1, 2020 to September 1, 2021.

Free Homebrew Club Insurance

The AHA reimburses all of a club's insurance premiums that report at least 75% of their membership as American Homebrewers Association members.

Your club members that are also AHA members need to confirm their membership record is affiliated with your club using these simple steps by December 1, 2020.

Request a list of current AHA members who are in your club by emailing John Moorhead.

Generate Revenue

Clubs can earn a profit when AHA members join or renew through your club's membership referral page. Set up is 100% hassle-free, free to sign up for, and can only earn you money.

Questions?
Check out the Homebrew Club Insurance FAQs or reach out to John Moorhead (303.546.6574) with general questions about AHA membership and the club insurance program. Contact our West's Insurance agent, Jenny Caldwell, for insurance specific questions (847.623.0456).

Disclaimer: Great American Insurance Group has provided West's Insurance a $0.50 increase in premium per member, bringing the cost per member to $4.25 for the 2020–2021 policy term. The premium rate increase is determined solely by the insurance provide, and is a typical market increase based on the type of insurance (General Liability) and the exposure around alcohol. The American Homebrewers Association continues to not take any marketing fees or commissions from this program, ensuring our members enjoy the absolute lowest premiums possible.

I plan to open my beer lovers club in a few months and would be glad to do business with you. By the way, I have some more questions about insurance, and I think we can discuss everything with your consultants. Also, if you have contacts of an insurance company engaged in house insurance, I'm ready to use its services. Insurance companies don't want to take my money because my house has a flat roof. I didn't even know which companies cover flat roofs for a while.
