Australian sparkling ale made with bottle-harvested Cooper's yeast, Galaxy and Enigma hops. Fruity and bready. Mango and some resin, but not IPA level. My wife's favorite of the two.

New Zealand pils, made with Motueka and Riwaka hops. Crisper and cleaner than the sparkling ale, but with a solid tropical southern hemisphere hop presence. Definitely pick up on passion fruit, lime and white wine character. Very easy drinking, my favorite of the two.

Always have a little leftover in the FV for enjoyment after the beer has been kegged.

Did the Novalager create any "red apple" character?  I was discussing this with Denny and a few others on another site.

I didn’t taste red apple

I tried not to, but it appeared  as the beer warmed. Very low level, not necessarily objectionable.

tommymorris also mentioned that he didn't taste it.  I'll use Novalager as my next yeast shortly.  As for the red apple, I'll assume it's a bug in Denny's tastebuds .. not the yeast.  :D  I kid, I kid!!  :D

We definitely do.  Has anyone else here or elsewhere mentioned the red apple?
