What's Brewing This Weekend - 8/6 Edition
« on: August 04, 2010, 03:22:33 pm »
What's brewing? Something? Anything?

I'm not sure if I'll be brewing this weekend, but it looks like I may be signing the biggest check of my life ever.

Congrats!  It takes a bit of time to get used to that kind of debt but well worth it in my experience.

Brewing on Monday.  It's hot enough in the house these days that I think it's time for my annual saison (fermented ~85F).
Bottling a belgian wit.
Oaking a sour belgian "brown" (not brown at all! -- one pound of dark candi sugar rocks did hardly anything!  I was only really hoping to get a bit of color out of them, but nope.  Just a golden color rather than pale straw.)

Tomorrow is slated to kick out a TommyKnocker Imperial Nut Brown ale clone.

Oh, and Blatz . . you were right. I just "thieved" a hydro sample of the Old Jubilation. OUTSTANDING!  :)
Just brew it...

Buying a house?  Congrats, Drew!  I'm on my 3rd...by that time, you kinda get over the amount of $$ involved!

I'm starting work on a rye pale recipe this Sum.  First time through, then I'll start tweaking.

Nothing brewing this weekend.  Working on my kegerator.  I also need to build a collar for my fermentaion chest.

I'm planning to brew a Munich Helles very soon.
