Muslin bag substitute
« on: August 15, 2017, 01:45:04 pm »
I just got a recipe kit I ordered, and didn't think about a muslin bag for grains. I have 8lbs of Pilsner malt, and 4 oz of Special B malt. Can I use a nylon sparge bag, or would it melt? I have some I bought for wine making that is the right size. If not what about cheese cloth? or I even saw someone mention (I was doing and internet search) a clean t-shirt.
I don't have much money, and I don't want to wait to have to order anything.

The nylon sparge bag should work.
