Woot!  :D

So. What are we all gonna make? I think I might go with a Helles / Dunkel / Bock / Dopplebock series.

Maybe we can all make things with it and post about results here?

I like it, I ordered 2 pouches, and have several lagers planned, just looking for ideas

Helles, Dort, Bo Pils, Bock, and doppelbock are on my calendar. I'm interested to find out how this strain compares to my usual 830, 833, and 838

great yeast. Ive always described it as the best of 830, 833, and 838. its clean low ester, malty, non temperamental, and flocs and attenuates well.  makes a great helles, marzen, bock, dunkel, and even pils to name a few.

The Vault at White labs.

It makes good Helles, Dunkel, Doppelbock in my experience. Similar to 833, but a little different.

I've got 2 packs on the way, probably gonna make a Munich dunkel and then go from there with the slurry. There are so many malty lager styles that I haven't tried yet. Looks like there will be many lagers in my future

I'd like to try it sometime. I love 833 and it sounds as good, if not a tad better. And I like all pils for some beers, too. The Pivo type pils I'm gonna do is all pils.

Yeah I wouldn't do 100% pils with 830, but 833 or 835 it's good IMO.
