...what really cracks me up, though, is thinking about Kai saying "group hug" in a German accent.  :D

I don't care who ya are, that's funny right there.

BTW, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with saying "All y'all," I'm just saying it was funny. I usually hear it only when there's an expletive in front of it.

You'ns: (Northwestern PA) You, singular or collective. If singular, refers to you but permits the inclusion of anyone you might know. Slightly different from "Y'all," closer to "Youse."

Think this is what they say in New Jersey.

I don't post here as much as I'd like, but I do check in at least once a day here.  Not sure how much that makes me part of the community or not...
But this is a good forum, there aren't any trolls, haven't noticed any spam, and everyone seems to get along very well.

Cheers & beers!

I got this weird thing going on where I use the Southern "ya'll", and follow it up with a Canadian "eh". I'm a wreck. Man I need my brewery back! But agreed, great place to hang out at.

There's no yinz in Jersey.....That's a Pittsburgh thing.  Whoops, did I just use the P-Word.....   :D

Definitely been a lot of fun hanging out with everyone!  I think it's kinda hurting my wallet a little.  That Ethnic Foods thread has made me unbearably hungry way too many times!   ;)

I guess its regional but in S.C.:

 Y'all is singular
All Y'all is plural

But sometimes when you speak to an individual such as asking "How are Y'all doing?" you are inquiring to the individual but here an individual also includes the family, so I guess it works both ways.

BTW, this is a great forum ;D

In this part of Canada (the maritimes - north and east of Maine), the "eh" is almost non-existent, but "right" apparently can mean the same thing as "very" - as in "that homebrew you gave me was right good."

I love this place and that's all I'll say aboot that  :-\

No, there's two of us in Jersey. Me and my buddy Mike.  ;D

Youn's stretches far beyond P-burgh. I guess they must say it different up there, because for the longest time I saw it written that way and could not for the life of me figure out what it was. It was more of a y'uns or you'ns where my family was from.

FTR I don't even own a non-stick pan. All stainless and cast iron. And I have a pro-series gas stove that would probably even impress Capp. I do cook in my crock pot sometimes and I'm not ashamed tlo admit that.  8)

I also say all y'all even when sober. Living in Alabama for 17 years will do that and other strange things to a person.

what really cracks me up, though, is thinking about Kai saying "group hug" in a German accent.  :D

Oh you own a non stick pan if you own cast iron  ;D

I laughed a little when I saw Kais post too

Keith, You're right about this forum!!  In its short life it's become my go to forum for insight and , well, entertainment now and again.  Great bunch of guys/gals willing to help how ever they can.  And how much closer could you get to keeping up on the latest brewing news than on a forum hosted by the AHA! Kudos to them as well!! I'll second the group hug!!!  8)
If Homebrew & BBQ aren't the answer, then you're askin' the wrong questions... Cheers!!!

Yeah, you're right, it was Pittsburgh that I was thinking, not Jersey.  Oh well.  I've never actually heard anyone say it, someone visiting from P-burgh told me that once.
