Pulled a pint
« on: May 24, 2010, 05:36:16 pm »
Here is a Black'nTan pulled from two of my brews.  ~80% pale followed by ~20% stout.

A real beauty there.

Be careful though, black and tan is not PC....now it is half and half, although your proportions are a little different.

To be super PC, a black and tan and a half and half aren't the same thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_and_Tan

Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.

Flavor of the day I guess.    Until I hit the internet homebrewing scene a B&T was a type of hunting dog.  Today I suppose its not PC to say that even.  I guess some of us old skool'ers just won't ever fit in.  I don't want to be a "borg" anyway.   :D

Sean, I just read about the B&T Spoon... I didn't need that fancy gadget.  :D

Cap, I know you know I know.   :D

Plus it wasn't an equitable distribution of glassware real estate. There will be protests... Census takers will be knocking....Cap started it!  :P

I was offered one at the bar down the road. I didn't see how they made it, but it was delicious. Must have been a sour ale base or something, I dunno...  ???

What about an Irish Car Bomb?

I've a friend/business partner that lives in Dublin - be sure to order an ICB if you ever get to Ireland...
