I have fermented 1056 at 55F and not gotten d. Must be your neighborhood!  😄

I attended a rally last weekend ...

I'm just surprised... that's not at all what I thought Village Taphouse would look like.

Brewing an experimental recipe. Brewing a scaled down version of my Tripel Karmeliet clone, and using Saison yeast.
Don't judge a beer by it's cover.

Tripel today using Rahr Old World pils malt. It's slightly undermodified so I'll be doing a Hochkurz mash.

Brewed a Baltic Porter yesterday. Was supposed to be an imperial but had some efficiency issues. Not used to bigger grain bills with lots of dark malts. Still 8.2 ABV instead of 10.2. We will see how the fermentation works out.

Lots of interesting beers going down this weekend!

I’m mashing a Street Corn Lager right now.  Essentially, Pils and roasted Blue Corn Malt.

Blue corn sounds interesting I've used Sugar Creek White and Red corn in American Lager. Let us know how the Blue Corn works out.

I can't post pix on this site, but here was my first run at a "Street Corn Lager™".  Came out really great.  Second attempt is fermenting away now.

That's a nice looking beer! I use Facebook for my pictures and then post the image on AHA.
