That seems very odd they word that in that way. I should think if the compound we were breaking down was actually H2O2 we would have ended up with two flasks of each gas. But as it was we got two flasks of H and one of O. I'm becoming confused because that article saying it breaks down into H2 and O2 doesn't make sense.
H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide
