Can conditioning in cans with full aperture lids
« on: August 09, 2023, 09:56:56 pm »
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had experience can conditioning, particularly in cans with full aperture lids?

[https://www.morebeer.com/products/fresh-aluminum-beer-cans-500ml169-oz-case-207.html](https://www.morebeer.com/products/fresh-aluminum-beer-cans-500ml169-oz-case-207.html)

I was about to pull the trigger and buy these cans along with the Cannular seamer, but I've never can conditioned before and one reviewer said they had issues with the full aperture lids popping open / exploding when can conditioning in them, but did not have problems with the standard can lid format.

Does anyone have experience with this? Also, would I be able to can condition beers to higher, Orval-esque carbonation volumes in a can? How many volumes of CO2 can a can handle?

Thanks, appreciate any insight y'all have with this.
