Beverage Doctor pH Meter
« on: January 17, 2023, 04:53:13 pm »
I purchased the Beverage Doctor pH meter and used it for the first time today. It was easy to calibrate and measure pH. It was very accurate and close to Beer Smith estimated mash pH. Thanks Big Eight for suggesting this meter!

I just got the same meter. My old crap meter calibrated at 4 and 7.  Now ... Whatever they are. 6.86 or whatever.

Other than that, what have you noticed thus far?

I calibrated mine with Milwaukee pH 4.01 solution. I've used the meter one time and it worked great. I'm brewing this week and I'll use it again. Kegland recommended using pH 4 solution for brewing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZSwUAnfWIg

After brewing a Helles today the Beverage Doctor pH meter registered a wort pH of 5.26. Beer Smith predicted 5.29. So I was happy with the pH meter today and the mash today.
