Using a check valve to prevent flow into your spunding valve would defeat its purpose. Flow through the spunding valve releases excessive CO2. That's how it controls pressure.
Which way does the check valve work? For example, take the followinghttps://www.morebeer.com/products/shutoff-valve-14-mpt-mfl.htmlDoes the check valve work from the barb end to the other end (in other words prevents anything from flowing towards the barb).Or, does the check valve work from the other end to the barb end (in other words prevents anything from flowing towards the end furthest away from the barb).I ask as I recently had some slight beer in my spunding valve and I'm thinking of using a check valve to prevent from happening again.Thanks.
